1. Level the Tripod: Place the machine on solid, level ground and adjust the legs for stability.
   
2. Check the Wheel and Guards: Confirm the wheel is clean and the guard is secure. Do not use the machine with missing or damaged parts.
   
3. Set Up Power Safely: Plug into a grounded 110V outlet or approved portable battery unit. Keep cords clear of the play area.
   
4. Use Helmets and Screens: Hitters must wear helmets. Use our protective pitching machine screen in front of the feeder to protect the operator.
   
5. Remain Aware During Each Pitch: The machine operator should be watching the batter to confirm that they’re prepared for the pitch. Then, the operator can slowly lower the ball into the machine.
   
6. Avoid Hand Contact: Never reach into the chute or near the wheel while the unit is plugged in.
