Not sure which part you need? The fastest way to get your pitching machine running correctly is to give our team a call. Rather than troubleshooting on your own, our support team can help diagnose what’s happening and recommend the correct BATA parts for your machine.
Some of the most common issues we hear about include inconsistent speed, unusual vibration, ball feeding issues, or reduced pitch movement. These symptoms may be related to motor wear, wheel alignment, mounting hardware, or normal part fatigue — but they can also happen when the machine’s wheel gap isn’t adjusted correctly for the type of ball being used.
If your machine isn’t performing as expected, contact our support team and describe what you’re seeing. Providing a short video or picture of the issue is especially helpful so we can guide you quickly toward the right solution — without guesswork.
- Inconsistent speed or weak pitches
Often points to a power issue, worn motor, or incorrect wheel-gap settings. If the wheel gap isn’t adjusted properly for the ball type, the machine may not pitch correctly. A replacement motor for pitching machine units can also restore proper speed and drive strength.
- Unusual noise or vibration
Check the motor, wheel alignment, or mounting hardware. Loose fasteners or imbalanced wheels can throw off performance.
- Feeding problems or ball jams
Can result from chute or wheel misalignment. Also, inspect the balls themselves. Scuffed, damp, or oversized balls can affect how they feed.
- Reduced grip or pitch movement
Look at the throwing wheels. Old or glazed wheels lose traction, reducing spin and accuracy.
